Indiana specialties like the speedway and yearly fair offer their share of thrills as well.
Climb your way up natural sand dunes at Dunes National Lakeshore. The dunes follow fifteen miles of Lake Michigan's shores, so kids have lots of room to run around, fly kites, roll down dunes, or hike through the wetlands and forests. Campsites are also available for an overnight adventure. Eagle Creek Park is one of the largest municipal parks in America and its many acres of forest and water encourage endless activities. In the summer, bring your blankets and lawn chairs for a picnic and music at the concert series.
Marvel at over 1,000 animals at Fort Wayne Children's Zoo. Let your little ones go on the kids rides and engage in the petting zoo.
