Camp Dovewood for Girls

Camp Dovewood is a dynamic, resident, Interdenominational Christian camp for girls 7-17 in North Florida. This year we celebrate 47 years of awesome camping where girls  can  select from 24 fun-filled activities to do, learn, and meet other wonderful friends . Our senior counselors are certified riding instructors, WSI and lifeguards, archery level one and two instructors as well as outstanding female role models teaching cheerleading, gymnastics, drama, art, ballet, swimming, soccer, riding ,Bible, cooking, great books, baton, music, photography, grooming and stable management and volleyball. Dovewood is accredited with American Camping Association , Certified Horsemanship Association and member of Christian Camp and Conference Association. We also have a nurse each session at Dovewood.

We offer 1, 2, and 3 week sessions where girls of all ages come not only to polish their talents, grow in the Lord but make friends to last a lifetime. In our two week session, we ride to the Suwannee River for a horseback overnight trip, raft down the Ichetucknee River and enjoy one of our evenings with a local vet . In all of out camping sessions we have trail rides, horse shows, and a time to share what we have learned with our families at the end of camp. Fourth Session we have a 4th of July Parade.

We believe that camp is one of the best and most productive investments one can make: Socially, Physically, Emotionally, Individually, Spiritually, and Intellectually for an enriched life ahead.
