Award-winning summer STEM research programs for teens include: Biological Research, Applied Physics Research, Chemistry Research, Neuroscience, Biomedical & Surgical Research, Forensic Science, Biotech, Medicinal and Pharma Research, Veterinary Medicine, Marine Biology, Clinical Psychology, Engineering, Emergency Medicine, Finance Research, Astrophysics, and STEM Entrepreneurship.

Outstanding gifted high school students attend our three-week programs, as well as our one-week programs, featuring Architecture, Anatomy, Intro to Surgery, Intro to Biotech, and many more. Students develop high-level research skills and subject matter expertise that strengthen credentials valuable for college admissions, interviews, and essays. Our graduates have been accepted to top universities.

Programs are led by teachers with impressive credentials and who have experience teaching high-achieving students. Many teachers have won major teaching awards and/or hold advanced degrees from Ivy League schools. Students excelling in honors or advanced STEM classes are encouraged to apply. Students hypothesize, design, test, and present findings at the end of the session. Programs draw on the incredible resources in the Boston area, home to many of the world's best universities, hospitals, and biotech companies, for field trips and guest lecturers. Students from more than 25 states and over a dozen countries have experienced our programs.

Programs are held at Babson College, Wellesley, MA, Gann Academy, Waltham, MA, and The Newman School, Boston, MA. On the weekends, residential students, accompanied by counselors, take the train into downtown Boston. Students walk the Freedom Trail, ride the swan boats in Boston Gardens, have Dim Sum in Chinatown, feel the ocean breeze as they watch sailboats in Boston Harbor, and catch the magic of Boston sports by visiting Fenway Park (delete the last section).

In their free time, Boston Leadership Institute students may engage in recreational activities or take advantage of nearby outdoor areas.
